Artist Statement:

Street II is an abstract reflection on the late 1990s — a time of musical revolution, cultural shifts, and the quiet joy that comes with change. For me, this period was marked by transformation. While some kids might have found it stressful, I experienced it as a foggy haze, moving forward step by step without full clarity but with steady determination.

This painting pays homage to that era, capturing the energy and spirit of youth navigating a world on the brink of the technological revolution. The layered acrylics and blended patterns, created with foam brush techniques, evoke the feel of street art — raw, vibrant, and alive — much like the creative expressions of young people at the time.
